Industry transformation case study
The client & the challenge
Start with the business.
Tiba Manzalawi Group’s manufacturing requirements bring together production planning, component availability, multi-stage operations and financial control. The transformation needs to reflect how products move through the factory, not simply how orders appear in a system.
A production plan is only useful when capacity, component requirements and stock movements agree. Tiba’s workshops focused on defining work centres, bills of materials, routings, consumption and finished-goods output so that planners and finance work from a coherent operational model.
The solution at a glance
From demand forecast to a traceable finished product
Illustration of the documented solution scope and intended business value.
01
Plan demand
Use the Master Production Schedule and replenishment suggestions to plan production.
02
Define the work
Connect BOM components and operations to work-centre capacity and cost.
03
Record production
Reserve materials, record consumption and manage partial production.
04
Trace and reconcile
Follow component and finished-product movements through stock and valuation.
The TDS approach
TDS worked through the manufacturing cycle with Tiba, from work-centre capacity and hourly costs to BOM operations, Master Production Schedule settings and manufacturing-order execution. The workshops also covered lot and serial traceability and the inventory valuation consequences of production movements. Joint staging validation and UAT were part of the deployment approach.
Business value first
What the design makes possible
Make plans operational
Capacity and production parameters translate forecast demand into a practical basis for manufacturing decisions.
Give costs an operational basis
Work-centre hourly costs and recorded material consumption connect factory activity to the financial view of production.
Protect deployment quality
Joint testing and staged release help resolve process and data issues before production use. More automation is valuable only when the underlying process is ready.
This case describes documented manufacturing workshops and solution scope. The reviewed records include UAT preparation; they do not establish completed go-live or measured post-implementation benefits. Deferred enhancements are not represented as delivered.
What makes this case special
Industry knowledge, expressed in the workflow.
TDS’s contribution lies in connecting planning, shop-floor transactions and finance while making practical delivery choices. Proposed Excel forecasting, bulk manufacturing-order actions and procurement automation were explicitly deferred for separate evaluation after the initial go-live.
