GKN Foods, the business behind Moishi Egypt, brings together food production and a network of retail outlets. Its requirements span both factory and branch preparation, creating a need to connect what is made, where it moves and how it is sold.
Food operations must control ingredients as well as finished products. Recipes and sub-recipes, expiry dates, production losses, outlet transfers and POS settlements each tell a different part of the operating story. The project requirements called for these activities to be connected without exposing sensitive recipe information to every user.
